Hello, Tech is a learning tool rooted in the idea that if you teach someone how to learn they will teach themselves. Through research I found the problem facing many in the current working world is, that as technology grows and becomes more accessible, the ability to use those technologies is mostly stagnant. The individuals that are teaching themselves are getting much farther ahead than those that are not. This is reinforcing what is already known as the digital divide.

Hello, Tech uses the framework of building a resume to teach the process of digital literacy through learning and doing, as a resource to help those falling into that divide. Breaking down a simple 4-step process of self-teaching done through Experience, Observation, Invention, and Exploration, Hello, Tech uses a visual navigation system to allow the user to also understand what step of the process they are learning at the different steps of building their resume. All this is taught through a cross media system, that integrates physical and digital learning together, through a book and a companion website and app. Hello, Tech is the learning resource for those that want structure on how to learn technology but want to make their own path along the way.
